Shri Sanjeev Kumar Chaswal completed advanced course in Web Designing, attained Fellowship on Constitutional Law, Parliamentary Institution and Procedures from Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary studies, (ICPS) Constitution Club, New Delhi, further completed advanced courses in French and German languages from JNU and Max Mueller Bhawan, Delhi. Besides completed many advanced Courses conducted by WIPO Academy.

He has practiced as advocate in High Court of Delhi particularly cases related to service Laws, Intellectual Property and other Civil cases. He has also been teaching IPR Law, Cyber Law laws as visiting Guest faculty in Indian law Institute (ILI) as well as at Mewar University between the year 2011-2013.
He has submitted Research dissertation for Fellowship studies titled “A PARADOX OF RIGHT TO RECALL AND REJECT - A BOON OR BANE” to Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary studies, (ICPS) Constitution Club, New Delhi and also Submitted research dissertation for LL.M on "Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanism in Commercial Intellectual Property Conflicts"
He has contributed as Editor till the year 1998 for three years, leading the IP journal “The Patent & Trade Mark Cases (P.T.C.)” published from New Delhi.
He was associated with Indian Intellectual Property Attorney Association, New Delhi (IIPAA) as TREASURER from the year 1998 to 2002. He was also associated with Legal Aid Society for providing legal aid to needy as Secretary General with “The Solace – Society for Legal Aid, Counselling & Education” based in Delhi
Former member of Delhi High Court Bar Association and of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Washington D.C, U.S.A.
As the Hon'ble Technical Member (Trade Mark) played a important role in conceiving the idea of development of new comprehensive user friendly IPAB website having many unique search features for advocates and litigants, who can have easy access to obtain case orders and as well as can access information with regard to status of pending and disposed off cases, the general public can also access requisite information of cases and hearing schedules as well as cause lists of circuits benches. The Hon'ble Technical Member (Trade Mark) has assumed as Acting Chairman of IPAB on 14th of May, 2016.
